Fox 29 Good Day Philadelphia broadcasted live from La Luna Dance
Studio in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Reporter Nick Smith received
a Salsa dance lesson from La Luna’s Director & Choreographer,
Sonya Elmore, and was treated to an authentic Mexican breakfast
complements of Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant in Norristown,
Pennsylvania.
Bensalem, PA (PRWEB) May 5, 2005 -- Fox 29 Good Day Philadelphia
broadcasted live from La Luna Dance Studio in celebration of Cinco
de Mayo. Reporter Nick Smith received a Salsa dance lesson from La
Luna’s Director & Choreographer, Sonya Elmore, and was treated
to an authentic Mexican breakfast complements of Los Arcos Mexican
Restaurant in Norristown, Pennsylvania. During the breakfast
segment, viewers got to see a live Salsa performance by Victor Colon
and Amber Rawls, two members of Luna Negra, La Luna’s Dance Troop.
To wrap up the morning broadcast, local Latino D.J. Clave inspired
Luna Negra and some of La Luna’s own students to show their skills
on the dance floor.
La Luna was founded in April 2003 to bring a full range of high
caliber dance classes, dance parties and special events to adults
and children in the greater Philadelphia area. The Studio promotes
dance as both a fitness booster and a fun social activity. La
Luna’s vision is to create a close-knit community that welcomes
all skill levels and satisfies the various needs of its members.
The Studio’s comprehensive dance program includes Salsa, Argentine
Tango, West Coast Swing, American Ballroom, International Latin,
International Standard, Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop. La Luna’s
experienced instructors nurture beginners, encourages intermediates
and challenges advanced dancers. All of La Luna’s dance activities
are held in its spacious 10,000 square foot facility that is
complete with hard wood floors and a state-of-the-art sound system.
