Better Home and Living Show Comes to Richmond Convention Center
- "Queer Eye Culture Guy" Jai Rodriguez to Speak

Jai Rodriguez, the dynamic Culture Concierge from Queer Eye For
the Straight Guy will appear at the 2nd Central Virginia Home and
Better Living Show on Saturday January 22, 2005 at 12, 3 and 7 p.m.
The Show will be held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in
Richmond, VA. Rodriguez will share his secrets on how he coaches
straight subjects on everything from mixing ‘n mingling in a
social setting, to conversation skills, and being at ease on the
dance floor.
Jai Rodriguez is a talented singer, actor, and dancer who has
starred in the lead role of Zanna in the off-Broadway musical hit
“Zanna Don’t!” Jai joined the show after a long –running
turn on Broadway as Angel in the Tony-Award winning musical “
Rent”. Jai’s other theatre credits include “ Spinning into
Butter” at Lincoln Center Theatre, “ Sad Hotel” at the White
Barn Theatre and “ Rent” in Canada. Jai also regularly performs
his solo act in the hippest and hottest nightspots in Manhattan. On
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, he uses all aspects of his
professional training and skills as a performer plus his social
charisma to set his straight subjects on the right road to social
success.
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is a witty television series and a
breath of fresh air from the saturation of reality shows on
television. It is a one-hour guide to “building a better straight
man” - a series designed for guys who want to get the girl, the
