AtomFilms and Lucasfilm Ltd. Announce the 4th Annual Star Wars
Fan Film Awards - Renowned Competition Calls for Submissions by
March 8

Entrants in this year’s Fan Film Awards will compete for the
George Lucas Selects Award, which comes with a cash prize of $2,000
and the recognition of George Lucas, who selects the competition’s
best film. Winners of all prizes will be announced at Lucasfilm’s
massive Star Wars Celebration III fan event, which will take place
April 21-24 in Indianapolis, Indiana, just weeks before the
long-awaited theatrical release of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of
the Sith.
The official support and participation of Lucasfilm have made the
Star Wars Fan Film Awards the world’s premier fan film event.
Finalists in past competitions have been viewed over 10,000,000
times at AtomFilms’ Fan Film Awards Web site, and this year’s
event is expected to attract both a record number of submissions and
a record audience.

- All 2005 finalists will be announced on March 29, 2005 for viewing
and online voting to determine the Audience Choice award
- Winners will be announced at Star Wars Celebration III on Friday
night, April 22 2005.
