American Tenor Richard Croft 2005 – 2006 Highlights: Salzburg
Festival, L.A. Opera, and Orchestral Tours With Les Musiciens du
Louvre and at Lincoln Center
American Tenor Richard Croft has gone from triumph to triumph over
the last year and this season, he opened to singing of Pelléas et Mélisande
at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, La Cenerentola with Dallas Opera and as
the last minute replacement of Idomeneo at the Houston Grand Opera.
(PRWEB) February 11, 2005 -- American Tenor Richard Croft has gone
from triumph to triumph over the last year and this season, he
opened to singing of Pelléas et Mélisande at the Deutsche Oper
Berlin, La Cenerentola with Dallas Opera and as the last minute
replacement of Idomeneo at the Houston Grand Opera.
The collaboration with Les Musiciens du Louvre will bring Croft to
Salzburg Festival starting with Acis & Galatea (May 13);
Mitridate (July 28-August 25) and touring Europe with Mozart Arias
with conductor Marc Minkowski.
2006 will bring Croft to his native land, to sing at the Dallas
Opera in Rodelinda (January – February 2006) and onto L.A.
Opera’s world premiere of Eliot Goldenthal & Julie Taymor’s
Grendel (and subsequently at the Lincoln Center). His 2006 season
will end with Mitridate at the Salzburg Festival 2006.
