UK Actors Prepare for Hollywood - TVI Actors Studio Coming to London, Leeds, and Manchester

British actors learn to follow in the footsteps of Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, and Kate Winslet. TVI Actors Studio, America’s largest acting school and resource center for actors, returns to the United Kingdom February 26 through February 28 to teach British actors how to market themselves in America.

LOS ANGELES, CA (PRWEB) February 13, 2005 -- British actors learn to follow in the footsteps of Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, and Kate Winslet. TVI Actors Studio, America’s largest acting school and resource center for actors, returns to the United Kingdom February 26 through February 28 to teach British actors how to market themselves in America.

TVI Chief Executive Office and former talent agent to Hollywood stars, Alan Nusbaum, states, “British actors are so curious about how to make it in America.” Nusbaum continues, “I will teach them how to take control of their own careers and become ‘actor-preneurs,’ actors that are entrepreneurial about their careers.”

Nusbaum has been teaching in London at the Actors Centre for several years and is finally branching out to the rest of the UK. Workshops will be taught in both Leeds and Manchester.

Nusbaum created TVI Actors Studio after representing several actors such as Sandra Bullock, Courtney Cox, Jerry Orbach, and Tonya Pinkens. “There was a clear need for actors to learn how to manage their career and run it like a business. Most actors come from an artistic background and rarely have business know-how.”

“Actors will come away from the class with knowledge and insight on how to make it in America, but more importantly how to apply the same self-marketing skills at home in the U.K,” said Nusbaum.
