Is there Money in your Mouth
If you are complimented on a nice voice, and have been told to do
something professionally, you most likely didn't know where to
start. National Voiceover Actor Mike Weiner gives you a roadmap to
follow in "Is There Money In Your Mouth", now available at
http://www.xlibris.com/weiner
(PRWEB) December 21, 2004 -- When Mike Weiner began a broadcasting
career in 1971, he had no idea it would lead to a successful career
as a voiceover actor for radio, television and video productions. As
his career started to move, strangers would call asking for advice
on breaking in to the voice-over industry. As a result of these
calls, Weiner put together a two day intensive workshop to help
people find out if they really had some talent, and if so, how to
take the steps to break into the market.
"Is There Money In Your Mouth?" is the result of
condensing Weiner's workshop and putting the salient pieces into a
book that will allow the reader to help self-discover if there is
potential, and gives some directions to follow to prepare a demo
tape.
"There are many people who are complimented on their voices
each day, but it becomes frustrating when they are told to do
something with their nice voice," Weiner explained. "Lots
of people have excellent instruments, but it's learning how to play
the vocal instrument like a pro that gets in the way. Before anyone
starts working in this field, they need to know if they can act, are
they willing to learn to play their instrument, and do they have the
inner desire to build themselves to the level of a performer to earn
the top dollars and top jobs.", he added. The book is a self
help starting point.
