Talent Needed for the Stage Production of "Hair"
Santa Ana College's Theatre Arts Department is putting out the
call for all local student and community members to come audition
for this year's musical, "Hair", which runs March 4-13,
2005.
(PRWEB) January 3, 2005 -- Santa Ana College Theatre Arts Department
will be holding auditions for the musical "Hair" on
January 19 and 20, 2005 at 7:00 pm in the Phillips Hall Theatre.
Please prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo and ballad selection. An
accompanist will be provided. Bring sheet music in the appropriate
key with the correct cuts. Songs from "Hair" are
encouraged. Dress to dance. This production will Not include any
nudity! All ethnicities are encouraged to audition.
Callbacks will be held at the director's discretion on Friday, Jan.
21. Rehearsals begin on Jan 24, and continue Monday through Friday
evenings throughout Feb. Due to the short rehearsal period, some
weekend rehearsals may be called.
"Hair" opens on March 4, continuing a Thursday through
Sunday schedule [Sunday matinee's only], closing on March 13.
"Hair" will be directed by Barbara Covington, with Musical
Direction by Jimmy Vann and Choreography by Heather Gillette. For
