How Much Do Actors Get Paid
How much will I be paid as an actor
Well, as the saying goes - it's all in who you are.
But when you're just starting out as an actor, you'll typically make
the day rate for SAG (assuming your a member).
Here are the rates that will be good until July, 2007.
Principle Performer Rates
Per Day: $759
Per Week: $2,634
Background Actors (aka Extras)
Per Day: $130
Residuals for theatrical Films:
Television/Cable: 3.6% of distributors gross receipts
Video/Discs: 4.5% of first million sold, 5.4% thereafter
